Finding Your Own Natural Recipes for Skin Care

You’re probably tired of going to the pharmacy and finding aisles of overpriced skin care products. If so, you should get serious about looking for some natural recipes for skin care. They can be cheap and effective and can even lead to some moneymaking opportunities if you stumble across something that people might be interested in purchasing from you.

Not all Natural recipes include the mixing of ingredients and applying it to your skin. Often it is changing your daily practices and diet. This combined with a healthy skin care regime can make an emormous difference.

One of the first steps towards healthy skin is exfoliating. there are many products on the market to aid in exfoliation but one of the easiest it to lightly rub a dry brush over the skin to remove dead skin cells. The second step towards healthy clean skin is a healthy diet. Drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fibre, avoid large amounts of sugar and make sure you include healthy fats in your diet.

Recipe Ingredients

Whilst healthy habits will aid in the quest for healthy skin, there are numerous traditional recipes for skin care. The majority of these are used for the basis of skin care, such as moisturizing and removing excess oil on the skin. Most of these recipes can be found in books or are available on the internet. The most common ones are often the most effective on a higher percent of people.

For oily skin, avocado can be a great active ingredient. Put the mashed pulp of an avocado, an egg white, and a dash of citrus juice (probably lemon or lime) into the blender and mix. The result will be a thick, green, muddy substance. After washing, apply a layer to the face and neck and let it sit for 20 minutes. The result should make your skin less oily for 48-72 hours.

Little Known Skin Secrets

A wonderful recipe for moisturizing uses pure honey and is improved even more when combined with the use of steam. Cover the skin of your face with pure honey and use either a steamer or a bowl of boiling water and a towel. Remember to remove the honey with cold water. The peel from an avocado is also a great moisturiser. Gently wipe the inside of the avocado peel against the skin of your face and then wash off with cold water. All natural recipes are cheaper than shop purchased skin care products and often more effective. Try them, you will be pleasantly surprised.
