How to Find the Owner of a Phone Number

Are you troubled by prank calls? Do you want to find out who is calling your kid? Is their a phone number displayed on your caller ID you don’t know? You want to find out who is calling. Finding out who belongs to that phone number isn’t as hard as you might think.

If you know where to look, you will be able to locate any phone number’s owner. All you need is the area code and the seven digit phone number.

The first thing you should do is go to a free reverse phone lookup web site directory. There are a number of them on the Internet. Enter the whole phone number on the site and click on “Search”. You will more than likely get the information you want if the number is from a published land line phone, including their name and address.

If you’re lucky enough to get results, then your search can stop there. In most cases, you’ll need to try a slightly different approach.

The main reason you can run into problems getting the information you want from the free reverse phone directory siites is that the number is either a cell phone number or is an unlisted or nonpublished phone number. There is no central data base for these numbers that you can access.

The free reverse phone number lookup websites will only give you the phone number’s owner’s name and address and nothing else. This could be a problem if you need more information on the person’s background.

Finally, most free sites you use to look up phone numbers do not update their sites. The information you do recieve may not be accurate.

You won’t need to try other reverse phone number lookup website directories. It won’t do you any good because most of them use the same databases. If you can’t find what you want at one, you won’t find it at another site.
